Mountain pose or Tadasana is usually the starting position for all the standing poses and is a meditative pose in itself. We often slouch in front of the computer or while we are driving. Tadasana is a great way to re-align the body.

There are many benefits of mountain pose including balance, improved blood circulation and digestion, toning and strengthening of knees, back, arms, thighs and core stomach muscles.
